ST:SNW S03 - Official Trailer

I strongly strongly STRONGLY disagree with that.

You're just listing things that happened in terrible episodes.
Terrible is a subjective opinion. Some people love the musical episode; I personally do not care for it. But, I thoroughly enjoy the Mirror Universe and that is considered terrible.

There are outlandish things in this franchise and all are fair game to newer productions.

This franchise has given us space hippies, warp ten lizards, a recurring Vegas lounge singer, and a doctor fucked a candle ghost once.

Nothing's too far-fetched for this franchise.

Maybe I'll give season three a try. Anything from season two that I really need to see before July 17th? No spoilers, just a yeah or nay will suffice.

I didn't know the Mirror universe is considered terrible. Huh. I like it. Mostly.

For what it's worth, these are the IMDb scores for the Mirror Universe stories:

TOS: Mirror, Mirror - 9.0
PRO: Cracked Mirror - 8.6
ENT: In a Mirror, Darkly - 8.2
DIS: Vaulting Ambition - 8.1
DIS: What's Past is Prologue - 8.1
DIS: Despite Yourself - 7.9
DS9: Crossover - 7.8
DIS: The Wolf Inside - 7.8
DS9: Through the Looking Glass - 7.4
DS9: Shattered Mirror - 7.1
DIS: Terra Firma - 6.4
DS9: The Emperor's New Cloak - 6.3
DS9: Resurrection - 5.7
Section 31 - 3.8

So Mirror Universe stories see to be pretty well liked generally. Except for when DS9 drove them into the ground.

They really were deliberately listing famously bad episodes in this case though. You don't accidentally pick Way to Eden, Threshold and Sub Rosa to make your case that weirdness is good actually.
You’re missing where I also cited Vic Fontaine, one of DS9’s best and most unexpected recurring characters.

You’re also missing my point where I was talking about far-fetched things, not a value judgment over whether they’re good or not. I’d rather you not distort the point of what I was saying.

I need the happy silly Trek from time to time, if only to get away from the space battles/baddies and temporal/quantum disturbances the other 2/3 of the time. Life is pretty grim right now and to decompress with silly SNW is a luxury. I liked Rhapsody's attempt, but I wish the music had been...more humable. We've all been spoiled by successful Disney and Broadway musicals, and can't help but compare.
