Spoilers for the End of Tennant...

timothytimelord.jpg

He looks even more like Patrick Stewart than before!
yes I didnt see it at first, based on the fact that he had hair, but now I see it.

It's a screengrab of a video that was never intended for public consumption. Here's a deinterlaced version.

(And as cool as it was to see it, leaking an image from a private video for RTD's leaving was pretty scuzzy, especially as it has to have come originally from someone who works on the show.)

I thought it must have been something like that.

Is Timothy Dalton too cool to sing "For he's a jolly good fellow"?

They're actually singing The Proclaimers "500 Miles". And seem to be on the "more" in "And I would walk 500 miles and I would walk 500 more".

Dalton's clearly wondering how the hell he got roped into it...

Spoilers from The Doctors Trainers (who's a pretty reliable spoiler source, but not always right!) on Gallifrey Base:

think

...flash backs to gallifreyan war rooms at the height of the time war at the start of the penultimate story with the time lords resurrecting the Master to send him in vs the Daleks

- James Bond as the President of the Time Lords

....the sound of drums being a way for the time lords to keep track of their secret weapon who they send in vs the Dalek emperor

.... the time lords doing a time hop, skip and a jump when the signal goes dead...can you guess why the signal goes dead...does the title of a recent Killers track come to mind?
wink.gif
[This is apparently Human, according to a later post.]

... that if a wife has any common sense she will want to keep her eye on her husband, particularly if she's from something beginning with 'G', she has been asked her to do so and her husband's the Master
wink.gif

- that hand being Mrs Master

-the regeneration occuring just outside the TARDIS while it is dematerialising causing it to crash and be destroyed.

^Ok, first comment--and I could be wrong, I don't like The Sound of Drums/Last of the Time Lords very much so been a while since I watched em) --but I got the impression the Master said he'd always heard the drums, rather than it stemming specifically from the Timewar.

Mmm-mmm. Smell the made-up bullshit.

(Wasn't TDT one of the people insisting that Paul McGann was returning and last year that Harriet Jones was inside the Red Dalek?)

Hey we still don't know she wasn't inside the red Dalek. Timey wimey and all that

(please note this is a joke!)

A glance at the Gallifrey Base Spoiler forum has him claiming that Nicholas Courtney was no longer going to be in the Audio Book series that Tom Baker is doing until it was pointed out that a photo of them recording together has been Twittered recently when he says what he really meant was that he was going to have a smaller role in them.

Highly reliable! :)

Exactly - they've been there since he looked into the time vortex as a child and went insane.

I always felt that the red Dalek was wasted, they never did explain its unusual design.

There was nothing to explain. The Dalek Supreme has always been different to the rest of the drones, particularly in Planet of the Daleks.

TDT is also claiming that the new TARDIS exterior will be Hartnell-style complete with white windows and St John's Ambulance badge. Another three weeks or so should prove that one right or wrong.
