In the first film Spock Primes' hair is grey and matches his aged appearance, but in Into Darkness when Spock contacts him his hair is pitch black and youthful looking. Has there been an explanation for this rather odd change in appearance?
The only thing I can think of is that the first film focused a lot on the point that Spock Prime was an older version of Spock from another timeline. Since Into Darkness doesn't go into this in detail I can only assume that they tried to make Spock Prime try to resemble the younger Spock as much as possible.
Either that or Spock Prime decided to dye his hair for some reason. Anyone have any ideas?
