Spock Prime's Hair (Spoilers)

Tuvok was seen shaving in Year of Hell, if I remember correctly.

I'm not convinced as I don't think "Year of Hell" really happened.
It was another VOY episode where they cheated by using time travel.

If Kirk had 17 temporal violations, I wondered how many Janeway had?

How does time travel change anything about the idea that Vulcans need to shave?
Even if Year of Hell didn't happen, Tuvok still needed to shave.

Just my weird attempt at humour

Technically, I don't think he needed to shave. I didn't even see any stubble! Maybe he was exfoliating his face...with a razor.

Exactly, there didn't seem to be any facial hair. Maybe Vulcans just like to run a blade across their face.

And even if he were shaving, why was he using a cutthroat blade anyway?

Having just seen the "Mr. Spock, Mr. Spock" feature I can confirm that it's Nimoy's own hair in Into Darkness, which actually looks much greyer than in the movie.

Nimoy's reaction when he learns who the baddie is is pretty cool, as is learning how the Spock/Spock exchange ends...
SPOCK PRIME: He will not hesitate to kill every single one of you.

SPOCK: Did you defeat him?

SPOCK PRIME: At great cost, yes.

SPOCK: How?

SPOCK PRIME: I took a hammer...

:lol::rommie:

Surprising! I for one stand corrected.

I will say though, thank goodness Spock was only seen front on in STID. Look at the profile shots of him in the make-up chair...those ears are huuuuge! :D
