Oh, and Pike's collar looks great in that elevator pic.
Wes Bentley, perhaps?

I always confused Wes Bentley with Milo Ventimiglia of Heroes fameWes Bentley, perhaps?

He looks the part, but I've never seen his in anything.
I really don't get the love for Quinto. He was really mediocre, definitely weakest of the reboot main trio. Whilst I think recasting Spock was a bad idea to begin with, they can easily do better than Quinto.

Wouldn't it be funny if Milo Ventimiglia was the next Spock?

Me neighter, not so much because of Quinto but because of how they chose to make him a hothead. No amount of "CHECK THE CIRCUIT" or "THE WOMEN!" references to early Spock in TOS will change the fact that most people expect Spock to keep his cool most of the time. Just didn't buy him as Vulcan.
Whatever happens in season two, I just hope it's better than season one which for the most part I consider a failure. We shall see. New season, new faces, maybe something really cool will happen.
I'm pretty sure we're only going to see Spock as a child and that this is what Kurtzman was referring to, but there's a chance I could be wrong.

I'm sure you are the exact same person you were ten years ago...
Forgot about him.Pretty sure it's Lt. Connolly that beamed together with Pike to Discovery.

The scene above is from from first episode of season 2 (see clapperboard). Spock is definitely not on-board Enterprise at that time.
Looking at that collar style on the Gold shirt, it almost looks like They were attempting to incorporate the Delta shape there as well.Well, Abrams hit it out of the park with Quinto and Kurtzman was involved in that movie. So the guy's got some successful history.

He's one of the biggest leads in This Is Us, which is a show so very much bigger than Star Trek right now so I really doubt he'd play a big role in Discovery? You know, as far as looks alone, that isn't a half bad idea if they just HAVE to recast him. Not sure if he could pull off the Vulcan demeanor with the criteria they're looking for but he can sure do the eyebrow lift. Granted the only thing I've seen him in is Heroes.
the collar is exactly the same as the Discovery collar. It just stands out more because it's a different colour.
Yes it is, I wasn't indicating anything different.the collar is exactly the same as the Discovery collar. It just stands out more because it's a different colour.
Oh yeah, if DigificWriter is convinced that we won't see adult Spock, that is pretty much adult Spock confirmed. The guy has basically a magical ability to predict everything wrong.Based on what they say in the interview, it sounds pretty clear that they're looking for more than just a kid in a flashback. Besides, you were telling us not too long ago, based on your reading of interviews, that they will never bring Spock to Discovery. So, I'll go with the chance you're wrong being pretty high.
