Spock and Uhura (Spoilers)

I just saw the film and I liked it a whole lot, Its a solid B for me and I loved how the entire characters got to shine and carried the film but the ending I was not sure If I got everything right. Did Spock and Uhura get back together in the end?

It wasn't outright stated but throughout their stories and their final scenes it was very heavily implied that this was just a 'break' (cue Friends references)

LMAO...I don't expect Spock to pull a Ross Geller and have sex with some other woman..because they were on a break but overall thanks for filling me in.

I missed a few things in the film, I did not even see when Spock got impaled.

I am going to watch it for a second time.
