Spock and Pike

An early childhood stroke left me with slightly diminished motor skills in my left arm.

Consider learning the Dvorak key map—it is built into both Windows and Macintosh OSes. I'm not sure about the various Linuxes, since there are so many.

As you may know, QWERTY was invented to deliberately slow down typists at a time when mechanical typewriters had a major problem with strikers locking oars. Dvorak is highly efficient and requires very little movement. Most users improve their typing speed significantly.

And what a coincidence to be addressing such a problem as this in a thread about Pike's limited mobility...

I was using an old fashioned non-electric wheelchair for about a month after my accident. I really hated it, so worked at getting the leg moving again. It's flexible enough now, but still weak, and hurts every second of every day.

A common story, not exactly proven.
