Spoilers Spider-man 3(take 2) Anticipation thread

The reason I say this is that I don't have any reason to discount multiple people denying that Tobey and Andrew are in the film, but t the same time can't come up with a reasonable explanation for a brief shot in this trailer of what appears to be the black-suited Spidey from the Raimiverse films.

Are you talking about this?

It's Holland Spider-man Gold suit

A good point Gizmodo made, but didn't take one thing into account: The final shot of the trailer, with the purple tears in the sky and Strange going "They’re starting to come through... and I can’t stop them!" At this point, the scaffolding has already been torn down from Lady Liberty - the battle, far as we know, is over. The Sinister Six, and presumably Tobey & Andrew (that's the part they missed), are already there.

So... what, or who, is coming through those tears...???

The crossover to end all crossovers.

Garfield must be showing how he won his Tony in this clip. The stuff about Spider-Man starts about 3 mins in after a long story about his ass.

I mean. I think the ground is slowly crumbling around the idea that they won't be in it

You have the trailer with all that scaffolding around the Statue of liberty

There are some reports going around including video footage that may support the assumption that Marvel "manipulated" the trailer to exclude the other Spidermen.

One of the Latin America trailers has barely a second more footage than the rest of the world and it is apparently exactly this scene. In it we see Lizard's head snap back as if he got hit by someone yet Tom Holland's Spiderman is not there. So the assumption is that Marvel CGI'd them out to keep one last surprise.

It's a rumor of course but where's smoke there's usually a fire. ;)

There's a video showing the reactions of Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon to the trailer and at one point Tom starts to say, 'Hey where's . . .' at a certain scene before the other two cut him off; so there might be some missing/manipulated footage.

Tom has been doing so well in not accidentally spoiling something again. Zendaya and Jacob must've been on their toes to stop him.

I'm not convinced that Tom Holland is actually so dumb that he'd violate NDAs and put his career at risk, so I don't buy this 'accidentally spoiling stuff' thing and fully believe it's a 'bit' that he and other people think is funny but is actually just kind of pathetic.

It sort of has become a running gag within the MCU and i love it. I understand him though, i for sure would have spoiled something along the way too if i were in his shoes.
Yup, same here. I mean, he's only human in a role of lifetime.

And besides, he's not the only actor to slip up ever, even within the MCU!

Oh that's a good idea, I could see that.

It's not a might, there are several spots where it's pretty clear they did.
Not only do we have Lizard getting punched by no one in the Brazilian trailer, but in scene with all of the bad guys jumpling at Spider-Man in both trailers, at least one of them is aiming for someone who isn't there, and in the last shot of the person on the Goblin Glider, if you look there are several gaps in his arms and legs where they removed someone hanging onto them.

I can't stop it! All the TV spots are coming through!

Doc Ock is totally going to tear those Iron Spider arms off or absorb them.

I must say, I'm enjoying this Electro already based purely on his design. They got rid of the stupid hair and "Nutty Professor" teeth.

Yes I know it's wrong to mock a character's appearance but still...
They got rid of the teeth thing IN the movie he was in.
The moment he transforms the gap is seen disappearing.
