This trailer stuff has gotten out of hand! 
They've got so much anticipation for this next trailer that it could bad( No Tobey and No Garfield) to good(Tobey and Garfield finally show up )
Challenge accepted.
Yup, at this point, if the trailer doesn't feature them, it's a failure in marketing.
It could be an excellent trailer in general, but because of the built-up hype around it, it's a failure without them.
I think a little scene at the end of the trailer with a small glimpse of another Spider-man glove offering to help Hollands Spider-man would be enough for me.
Of course, it could turn out that Garfield was telling the truth every time he said he wasn't in it.
And as for Tobey Maguire he hasn't acted on screen since 2014. Seems pretty retired to me.
I don't for one second believe that Garfield is in it. I think that's an absurdist claim, not helped by repeated YT rumor mill mongering. If he shows up I'll be incredibly surprised by this move.
I'm sure if they're not in it the internet will react calmly and sensibly to the thing people have said over and over again isn't happening not happening...

On the minus side: We may not be getting Tobey and Andrew after all. 
On the plus side: We are DEFINITELY getting Spidey vs. the Sinister Six.

Love seeing all of the old bad guys again.
I'm hoping since they are hinting at Gwen Stacying MJ that that means it won't actually happen.
Looks like we'll be getting at least one Strange vs Spidey fight, so that should be fun.
I'm curious if the scene if the "they" who are breaking through are the bad guys we saw in the rest of the trailer, or someone else.

Also all those leaked pictures of the scaffolding set matches what we're seeing in the trailer with the statue of liberty

I'm not so convinced we're not going to see them. Maybe I'm grasping at straws, but Strange's "They're coming through" during the stinger seems...ominous.On the minus side: We may not be getting Tobey and Andrew after all.
