Spoilers Speculation: Who's the Main Villain?

I agree that the Romulan lounge lizard guy--Narek?--seems the obvious choice, but I think he's more the soap opera redeemable bad boy sort, so...villainous, kinda, but he'll do something unexpectedly 'good' before the end...

Honestly? For my money, Starfleet Command is the 'villain', given the couple of episodes' worth I've seen of them so far! Really useless-seeming bunch for the most part... Reminds me of the equally useless bunch leading the Jedi just before everything went to hell for them when the evil ol' Emperor revealed himself. THEY didn't see what was right under their noses and some of the Starfleet higher-ups now seem equally clueless and/or corrupt. Just my opinion...

For me the main villian is starting to be the overly sloooooowww pace of this. I get that they wanted this to be more character based and slower paced, which I liked in the beginning. But they´re overdoing the "slow". This is really starting to feel like we´re watching an 9 episode intro to episode 10.

Or maybe it's a 10-episode intro to Season 2...

Dr. Agnes Jurati, it must be her.

It's obvious she is the new Borg Queen.

Her name is an anagram of Junta Regia(s), this clearly means she is the Queen who usurped power.

:P

I'm a fan of Better Call Saul.

Picard moves like a racejet by comparison. :p

I thinking a more advanced, older version of Control (not Control per de, a convergent development) and it is a machine swarm that is partially transcendent.

It wont be anything from the books.

You had the iconians at that time and the Borg according to Guinean emerged at that time to.
