Speculation on Series 11 Console Room

People, the Doctor won't have to read on the sonic sunglasses, she will have them transmitted DIRECTLY into her brain.

Do they normally leave it up between seasons?
Yes, it's this huge behemoth thing. In fact, I visited that set shortly after they filmed Smith's regeneration story. The people there would not give any spoilers (obviously) but the one thing they could tell us was the fact that the TARDIS set was still there meant that Capaldi was going to use it because there was not time to get another ready. Sure enough . . .

No, the sunglasses. How else did a blind Twelfth Doctor see the email his virtual self sent him?

I'll chip in here.
I'll be annoyed if it's another orangey organic looking TARDIS. I echo the sentiments by many here and would like a more traditional, minimalist, white TARDIS. As the Doctor's outfit looks a bit 80s, as many have said, a slightly 80s TARDIS would be nice. Whether it's based on the aesthetics of the classic series TARDIS or something more like the TNG Enterprise, I'd like something more in the vein of one of those looks. Maybe something like this but with a flat floor and maybe a bit smaller. Also maybe stick with the Police Box Tardis door.

Oh I like this alot! It might be a bit sterile-like a Star Trek bridge though

It looks very 60's. From a practical stand point I'd put the TARDIS doors back like they've been for awhile instead of the old show's large doors.

Also shrink it down for budget restraints

A sterile TARDIS would make a nice change ;)

I'd like a warm and cozy TARDIS. We haven't had that since Tom's old fashioned control room. That would be different from the variety of sterile, grown, and thrown together control rooms that we've had. Capaldi's had touches of coziness but not the real focus. McGann's was old-fashion, steampunk, etc but not particularly cozy IMO.

I'm always for a redesigned Victorian control room. A small room right off to the side could be a cozy area without scaling down the control room though.

Maybe do more with the area underneath the control room.

I want a brighter room, it has been pretty dark since the show came back, I also want a sleaker console not one that looks like a bunch of trash was glued together.

I don't want it to have a lower level like 11 and 12 had, while good in theory it was never used right, instead I'd like them to put the door, console etc. at the bottom and add a second floor, not the 6 feet raised walkway kind of second floor, an actual balcony looking down onto the comsole room, maybe with a couch, a place where they can hang out and relax a bit.

I’m hoping for a radical departure, take away the walls with those familiar roundels and you see an immense cavernous space, much like the great machine from The Forbidden Planet, and the console room, now an exposed platform, sits atop a narrow pillar, its base lost to the near infinity of the tardis interior. The doors to the outside are at the end of a short pier, and only appear when required, like a holodeck exit.

Bolts of lightening zap all around as the unimaginable power of the eye of harmony is channeled through the time rotor, puncturing the continuum, and propelling the tardis through the vortex.

I’d keep the hatstand though.
