"The Day of the Doctor."Has there ever been an ep where the console room changed during a scene? I'd kinda like to see that.

I doubt we’ll see much of the console room until the first episode airs,Aw man, that hurt to watch...Hope they unveil the new TARDIS tomorrow to make up for it.
Back in 1999/2000 I saw something like this in Doctor Who Magazine:
Apparently the console room they used (I'm not sure if it's this exact one;I don't have ready access to the issue(s) involved) was created in minature and Sylvester McCoy was greenscreened in for some TV program.
While I wouldn't call for this exact console room, I do like the idea of a suspended console. Give the rest of the room a modern makeover, though.
Yeah, I've always loved both of those design ideas. The first one might be possible now, but I doubt the BBC budget would allow for something so beautifully intricate as the second one.Throwing this one in again. https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/images/ic/1200x675/p00pqhhv.jpg
I just hope whatever design Chibnall's team came up with, they retain the bookshelves from Capaldi's console room.![]()
