Personally, I'd prefer to drive a classic.
I wonder if they have any Apollo capsules for sale....

Andy Griffith beat me to it.Personally, I'd prefer to drive a classic.

You could claim salvage on one of the ones they left behind on the Moon.
Nah, bad idea. Granted, the shuttles are some of the most impressive technology from the seventies, but they really are showing their age. Imagine what could be done today if a reusable spaceship was ordered…That SpaceShipOne guy should buy them and keep them flying.![]()
Those aren't capsules, the capsules never landed but stayed in orbit around the moon, the only spacecraft(ish) things left on the moon are the LEM landing gears.Personally, I'd prefer to drive a classic.

Sorry 'bout that (I kinda knew though) but you could have been one of those younglings that have no idea about the early days of space exploration…Those aren't capsules, the capsules never landed but stayed in orbit around the moon, the only spacecraft(ish) things left on the moon are the LEM landing gears.
I know that, I was using a bit of artistic licence for the purposes of comedy.

I know; you're an old fogie, like me, probably saw both the moon shots and Star Trek (-original) back in the daySorry 'bout that (I kinda knew though) but you could have been one of those younglings that have no idea about the early days of space exploration
You would get that from me.
And I'm not a "youngling" either.

I still think it was a weak joke though![]()

No, I didn't, but I'm hardly ignorant of how the moon landings worked. I'm not exactly what you'd call a noob when it comes to Star Trek, either.
I imagine there are people a lot younger than you or me who have a much greater understanding of the technology behind the Apollo programme than either of us.

We've discussed the conflicts between my sense of humour and yours before. Let's not go down that road again, eh ?
Watch this video of one going up from a plane. WARNING! stoner guy saying "holy shit" the whole time.

It's funny people reacted to being surprised at how "fast" it is.
Dude, it's a rocket!

You've developed a method of harnessing energy from pointing out the completely obvious, haven't you?
True.Well, it's Andy Griffith. You can't really hate on Matlock.
