Yep. Acting Captain's Starlog, February 14, 2152...
...as T'Pol incorrectly stated during Zero Hour.
The new movie seems to have gone for something inbetween ENT and TOS by calling them Stardates but starting off with the year, then presumably after a decimal point, the month represented as a number. Captain Roobarb states 2233.4 or whatever... Another of those concessions to making Trek more accessible. Of course, there was never much sense to TOS, beginning with Stardate 1312.1 but it did at least seem non-Earth centric. I've heard most the theories though, like how "Where No Man..." could be 13 months and 12 days into their 5 year mission. But that never made much sense to my two dimensional, "synchronize your watches" mindset... How would Starfleet co-ordinate a fleet, with each ship running by a different dating system depending on when they were launched?
