Did Enterprise have a Stardate system like in later Star Trek?

I should know this but I rarely watched ENT, and it's been a LONG time since I've seen any episodes.

Enterprise used standard Gregorian dates for their log entries--
But it’s OK, it’ll get them to where they’re going--
Cause I've got faith of the heart
I'm going where my heart will take me
I've got faith to believe
I can do anything….

Yep. Acting Captain's Starlog, February 14, 2152...

...as T'Pol incorrectly stated during Zero Hour.

The new movie seems to have gone for something inbetween ENT and TOS by calling them Stardates but starting off with the year, then presumably after a decimal point, the month represented as a number. Captain Roobarb states 2233.4 or whatever... Another of those concessions to making Trek more accessible. Of course, there was never much sense to TOS, beginning with Stardate 1312.1 but it did at least seem non-Earth centric. I've heard most the theories though, like how "Where No Man..." could be 13 months and 12 days into their 5 year mission. But that never made much sense to my two dimensional, "synchronize your watches" mindset... How would Starfleet co-ordinate a fleet, with each ship running by a different dating system depending on when they were launched?

Personally, I always pretend there is no such thing as stardates. They are completely impractical and inconsistent, and the only reason they were ever there was because GR didn't want to reveal the years TOS happened in for some silly reason.

BTW, in "The lives of Dax", Exri has to calculate how long ago a certain gregorian year was, and she gets annoyed by it: "She hesitated as she did the math. After lifetimes of thinking in terms of clear and straightforward stardates, Earth years were hopelessly perplexing in comparison." :rommie:
