Also the director of Morbius talks (sort of) about whether there is a Spider-Man in that film's universe. The most interesting part is where he brings up the Spider Totem concept which is a key part of the comic-book Spiderverse.

Well, if 2015s Fantastic Four movie had been a success on any level, Michael might have been able to play Peter's Johnny Storm.
FF was by FOX wasn't it? They wouldn't have been able to crossover.
Anyways, apparently Morbius' early reviews aren't good. Sony seems to be stuck in the 2004-2006 mindset of how to do CBMs.

The rift from No Way Home appears, and for some reason Toomes switches universes from MCU to Morbius. Because there's no record of him, they let him out of jail. Later, he somehow gets his Vulture suit and asks Morbius to help him kill Spider-Man.

Okay, I'll watch the film when Mystery Science Theater 3000 covers it.
This makes me worry about a Tom Holland/Sony only backed Spider-man movies if he truly leaves the MCU
Yup, same here. I was very worried during that brief time after Far From Home when we thought the deal wouldn't be renewed. And yet, some people tried to say I and others were being hysterical and had no reason to worry about Sony.
Well. This is just further proof for those concerns.
Well if the next three movies are a mess/full of plot holes and inconsistencies at least we'll have the "Home" Trilogy. It wasn't perfect but it was fun enough
-IMO I don't think we got a good third act action scene in "Homecoming". It was so dark I couldn't see much during the plane sequence.

Okay, so apparently Morbius and Venom are from the same world and Michael Keaton's Vulture and other characters are capable of bouncing between universes. Okay.
