Sons of Anarchy season premiere

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Whaddya think?

I hate to say it, but I miss the neo-Nazis. :rommie:

Also, I liked the cop - not sure what role he'd have in the story this season but he was a nice counterpoint to the bikers.

I think the show might be getting to the point where it's told all the story I'm interested in seeing...

I thought it was pretty good, but am pissed they killed Hale. He was one of my favorite characters. He was the perfect counter to the biker gang. Torn between upholding the law and letting SamCro do what needed to be done.

I caught up on this show over the summer, what with the precious little to watch out there.

Half-sack and then Hale... ouch... I liked those characters.

I don't know, I'm still pretty entertained by the show, but the kidnapping plot is just a little silly for me. Episode 2 was a lot slower than the premiere, but I did get a good laugh out of dude, the baby oil, and the humane thing to do.

Anyway, I'll definitely keep watching, this, Dexter, and maybe Boardwalk Empire will hopefully provide some decent viewing this season.... Oh and Chuck, but that's really about it :(

You're right, there's definitely not much to choose from this season.

The kidnapping plot is kind of dumb. Especially now that the Irish know the truth. SoA is still one of the better shows out there.

I thought something was up with Hale when I was watching the show first time through. His acting seemed a bit off from normal. I wonder if he decided to quit or if TPTB wanted to kill Hale off? When the car hit him I thought it wasn't too bad, until I heard the squish of brains. WTF was that!? No chance of him coming back from that.

Love this show! I agree that things are rolling a little on the slow side right now, but I'm anxious to see SAMCRO burn Belfast to the ground looking for Abel.

And, my prediction about Jax:

I'm thinking that Maureen Ashby is Jax's real mother. Nobody has ever asked the question how two non-blond parents (Gemma and JT) can have a very blond kid. The addition of a VERY blond woman who has strong ties to the MC and an apparent interest in Jax is intriguing. That, plus Maureen referring to Jax as "JT's boy" and Gemma's defensive response "My boy", and finally Gemma's ominous prediction of "unturned stones" in Belfast.

Yeah, it's kind of slow now but I'm thinking it's going to come to a head very soon.

And I would love to see Gemma get an opportunity to kick the tar out of Stahl when she gets out of the hospital. Her life is over (if Jax's plan doesn't work) and she's "too old to run". What's she got to lose?

Genetically it's common for two parents without blond hair to produce a child with blond hair, neither of my parents have blond hair, and both my sister and I do.

Here's something to back that up:

Your other clues as to that seem reasonable though.

It's entirely possible - recessive genes. I do think, however, that Maureen was definitely a previous John Teller love interest, and I think that the Belfast history of the charter will result in Jax having many questions that Gemma and Clay won't want to answer. I've been expecting for some time that at some point in the future we'll find out John's semi-truck incident was neither accident nor suicide but rather caused by Clay to "protect the club."

Also, for anyone who hasn't seen the news already, season 4 is a go!

With this week's eppy things are looking up. Hopefully the draggy plotline with the IRA and the kidnapping will be wrapped up soon. Jax's secret deal with Stahl makes sense and could lead to interesting things...
