Well, I did the same thing using the Director's cut and the workprint audio clips I still have. Unfortunately there were a lot of tiny bits that I had to guess on based on my memory. And of course the workprint ends, as you know, when Spock gets up to repair the engines.I made an entire conformed markup of the shooting script based on the workprint, including shifting pages around to account for the vastly different way it’s cut compared to the Final Cut. It’s always a handy reference tool to have on hand.
