Something eventful finally happened on The Event

The show has never felt that eventful to me, but at least something interesting happened last night with the whole bus thing and the helicopter. I really wanted Sophy to buy the farm, but I guess we are stuck with her until the show is cancelled.

I actually like The Event. It's the only new show this fall I gave a crap about. I was pretty shocked when they killed off a main character... but they pulled that trick earlier and that guy ended up surviving so I'll be surprised if he's actually dead.

I have no doubt it will be canceled, but it hasn't happened yet.

So they killed off Jason Ritter? Was there ever any reason for him to be in the story?

No, they killed the evil alien who was the son of Sophia. He sacrificed himself so Sophia could escape. Though like I said, I'm expecting him to miraculously survive the explosion like the the other guy did.
