So I am an infrequent contributor to the TrekBBS. But I have noticed the Sombrero trend as of late. I had seen it before in a few signatures and a few avatar's. But suddenly it seems like I am the only one not wearing a sombrero.

What is the story behind the sombrero taking over the BBS?

in that paticular thread yeah i think they would have.
maybe not lasted as long but they would have been there.
