Off topic, but I haven't found anything official one way or the other about Alice Eve being in the next movie. Have I missed something?

Nope. I wish we knew something about if Carol will return. I'm going to be a little miffed if with all the build-up and the "nice to be part of a family" if she just disappeared with little to no mention.

Yep. I thought that line was setting her up for the long term (or at least the next movie).

She's on maternity leave.

Hmm. The only thing that comes up on Google about it is a report on Mediamass about rumors spread by British tabloids that she's pregnant. The thing is, Mediamass is a satire and parody site.

Besides, if Carol Marcus had been written into the story and it turned out Eve wasn't available, they could go "Robin Curtis" with the role.

Well. She is a interesting & hot looking alien character named Jaylah. She seems to work together with Kirk & his crew against Kraal (Elba's character). Can't wait to hear more about her.
