I realized at one point while re-watching Buffy seasons that I really don't like Buffy much as a character and what kept me coming back to the show was the supporting cast more than her. People like Willow, Oz, Xander, and Anya were just immensely cooler, nicer, and/or funnier. I could see myself being friends with Buffy as well as the rest of them, then getting sick of Buffy's B.S. at one point and remaining friends with the rest of them but not seeing her anymore.

This question presupposes that I wouldn't attempt to date Buffy before attempting to become friends with her That said...yeah I'd at least give it a shot. There's a reason that she only has a few core friends obviously through the nature of being the chosen. Also regarding the danger...you'd only be in immediate danger if you chose to go along and hang out with the Scoobies during one of their patrols. I'd make sure to hang out with them when they're in the library or whatever or bail lol.

Dating Buffy would be complicated...or a slayer in general given the nature of the beast. The penis says "Hellz Yeah!" but the brain says "Hellz NO!" And the heart...just goes out to her.
