Ancient,I would rather talk about hot american women and positive and friendly things about startrek than people give attitude and opions about my writing.

Hey, see, now that post was better. It's not so much spelling as it is run-on sentences that get really hard to read. It's not that we like jumping on someone, it's just really hard to carry on a conversation with someone who posts stuff like this:

That sentence makes no sense. I have no idea what it means. All we ask is that you be understandable. Is that wrong?

The reason we ask that you be understandable is because we are very interested in what you have to say.
 
meaning,that they would read the post about the new movie toys regardless of spelling,ancient... seriously go and find a scoop as good as mine
I dare you,besides you understood me before asking about the 1701 details,and the end of the day you have no respect for new people on the board,I explained everything in good english for it to be headline news on TREK WEB and TREKTODAY.
 
You *have* to take some care with your posts, though. Yes, we can decyfer your posts with some effort, but why put people through that? Otherwise mate, people will see your username attached to a post and decided to skim over. I'm saying this for your benefit. Just a little care and attention. We all make an effort to be presentable - why shouldn't you?

You haven't got any excuse, really. It's just laziness.
 
I doubt it takes effort,and you need to bang this one on the head,I have never had critism before when I write letters or e-mails.

Yes, I can understand some of what you write. It's not easy though. I appreciate your posts, but again: Please be understandable. We aren't asking this to be mean, we are just trying to clean up this communication issue.

You don't need a scoop to post here, and we are fine with new people. But obviously, being able to post clearly is a plus.

Alrighty, I'll just lump everything up into one warning for flaming debush. There really was no need to say any of that.
Also you need to start using the quote function to reply to multiple people. Posting more than two times in a row in a thread, on a consistent basis like you do, can be considered spamming. So, please knock it off.
One last thing, your posts are very hard to read, and understand. So it's no wonder people are getting annoyed. It's hard for people to respond to your posts when they need to look at their decoder rings first.

As for everyone else, please stop with the spelling and grammar hints. If there's a problem with somebody's grammar etc let one of the mods know and we'll look into it. Thanks ever so much.

If anybody has any comments or constructive criticism do it via PM and not in thread.

Back to our regularly scheduled thread about something we know nothing about. :)
