And the most important question of all... does it have little three-digit numbers at various points along the secondary hull? If it doesn't... BOYCOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!ancient said:
debush, I don't know how good of a look you got at the toy ship, but could you try answering a few questions? I'm curious how much like the TMP ship it is:
-Are there windows on the toy ship, along the edge of the saucer and on the lower hull parts? Or were they windowless?
-Are the engine pylons swept backwards like the TMP refit, or straight up like the TOS ship?
-Does it have the two torpedo launchers on the front of the neck, above the deflector dish?
If you noticed any of this I'd like to know, thanks!

Remember the launch scene in Lost In Space? The Jupiter 2 looks like the classic flying saucer from the TV show. Then when it gets into Earth orbit, this is revealed to be just a shell that is jettisoned after launch, revealing the "real" ship, a souped up modern blob designed for the big screen.
So maybe the opposite will happen in STXI. The Enterprise first be revealed as the clunky aztek-paneled, fat-nacelled steampunk thing we see in the teaser, but when it hits warp, all the doo-dads will fall off like chunks of ice from a Saturn V, revealing the sleek grey girl we know and love![]()
Debush, dude, you gotta work on your writing. Your posts are rambling and difficult to parse. Slow down, compose your thoughts. We aren't going anywhere.Hi guys!
The toy isnt completed yet, but the saucer itself is bang-on TMP period, while the engineering hull and deflector dish are 60s-style.
The nacelles are like the Koerner ones, but with no warp glow. They're basically TOS nacelles that get bigger towards the saucer, but missing the orange glowing caps. They have a long red stripe on the side.
A great job indeed!

Agreed... and it's not mean (and certainly not a flame) to point it out.Arlo said:
