Not all the military characters in SGU are Air Force. Colonel Young is, as he does have US Air Force stamped on his uniform. Meanwhile in Air 3 I think I saw US Marine on Colonel Telford's uniform. So I guess it pretty clear which respective branches they belong to
And then there's Sgt. Greer, who Dr. Rush comments would be "in jail if it weren't for the Army." Does this mean Greer is actually in the Army, or is Rush just applying the word Army to the entire military, as many civilians do?
And I haven't seen any indication yet saying wich branches Lt. Scott or Lt. Johansen belong to. Though admittedly I didn't start paying attention to the patches on anyone's uniforms until my second viewing of Air 3.
I really don't want to start another thing of "is Sheppard Air Force or Marine?" which haunted Atlantis discussions for too long. I'm just genuinely curious and thought it maight make for an interesting discussion.
