How was it? I follow her blog, but haven't had a chance to read the book yet.
Both 11/22/63 and the box set of A Game of Thrones are waiting to be shipped from Amazon. I'm looking forward to getting them.
Glad to see so many people reading or about to read 11/22/63. I might start a thread on it...
Just finished Star Wars: Riptide. It's the third Star Wars novel I've read by Paul S. Kemp, and so far I've loved every book of his I've read (the other two being Crosscurrent and The Old Republic: Deceived).
Currently reading Offworld by Robin Parrish, an original book I found at a discount store about a mission from Mars that returns to find Earth empty. It's been enjoyable enough, although there are a few things that really stretch my ability to believe them... I'm hoping there will be some story element that explains those points by the end of the book.
Next up is Indistinguishable from Magic.

Just picked up a copy of Confidence Men: Wall Street, Washington, and the Education of a President by Ron Suskind.
Finished Choices of One by Timothy Zahn, another great star wars read, this book was something of a sequel to Zahn's other book Allegiance and the way it ends it looks like he is going to make it into a trilogy.
About halfway through Selar's Q story in New Frontier No Limits, she has been interacting quite a bit with the female Q, correct me if Im wrong but werent both characters played by Suzie Plackson on the shows?

I got my copy of 11/22/63 today. I'm not sure when I'll get to it. I've been on a book-buying spree lately. 
Just finished A Singular Destiny. Strong outing as always from KRAD. My only irritation was the casualty list in the middle of the book that left me staring open-mouthed for several minutes, but wasn't addressed at all again in the book.
Moving immediately to Titan: Over a Torrent Sea. Eleven books left in my catch-up list. Can I pull it off before the year is over?

It was intended as a teaser of sorts for VGR: Full Circle.
I'm re-reading Prelude to Foundation by Isaac Asimov.
Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be completely ignored. It was just mean!
I kept starting each new chapter (or rather, each chapter that wasn't a news report, letter, or interview 
) hoping to see a follow-up. Zilch. 
I told myself in the back of my mind that Full Circle would probably deal with it, but I have Over a Torrent Sea in between! And it didn't seem likely that a Titan novel would cover it.Nevermind me though. I'm pouting, but it's good-natured pouting.
I'm only just finishing up Rough Beasts of Empire. The book stores are a looooong walk. 
I'm randomly working on a comic at the moment, which is sucking up my spare time... so I haven't been up on the super latest news, but I'm hoping to read some more CoE/ I forget the other title and I bought some of those old multi-story books Asimov used to edit. I got one in Florida a while back and loved some of the pieces, so I was glad to find more here, even though they cost a lot more.

My current reading: Sharpshooter by David Healy. A Civil War novel about a Confederate plot to assassinate U.S. Grant in 1864.

I picked that up on Thursday, but have a huge backlog of stuff I want to read before reaching that one (including Under The Dome)
Dang, I can't believe I didn't recognize the significance of that date! Maybe because of the format it was written in. I didn't bother to convert the numbers to a full date.
It's about a doorway in a diner that leads to 1958. Every trip into the past is a reset, though. The protagonist has plans to go back in time and stay until he can stop Lee Harvey Oswald (among other things). It's a really engrossing tale so far. King says he's had this one on the brain since the 70's. You can tell it's really a labor of love.
