I finished Bone tonight, at least the main series. What a fantastic comic! I can't believe I waited so long before checking it out. I also bought the prequel comic Rose, which I'll read tomorrow.

Finished reading Watching the Clock by Christopher Bennett. I was impressed by how he managed to work in pretty much every Star Trek time-travel episode ever aired!

finished interview with a vampire now I am onto star trek enterprise: Rosetta by dave stern.

A Time to Heal.

It's very good so far I finish this then the last A time to novel. Then Articles of the Federation and hopefully that will get me to the new ENT book at the end of the month.

I've decided to go back and reread some of my favorite Trek books. First up is Serpents Among the Ruins, one of my favorite novels in any genre.

Finished rereading Jurassic Park for what is probably the tenth time and now onto a reread of The Lost World. Two of my all time favourite books.

Finished Queen of the Slayer, now Im reading Carnival of Souls by Nancy Holder.

Picked up a copy of The Skys the Limit so I can have a dose of TNG every now and again between TNG book release. Probably will read at least one story out of that after Carnival, before I get into my next book.

I'm getting into Tom Jones, and liking Fielding's writing so far. Pretty thick book, though, even by my standards. :)

"Children of the Sky" by Vernor Vinge just landed on my Kindle this morning. I've been waiting for this one for years.

Still working my way through Time Travelers Never Die by Jack McDevitt... I can't remember if it was this thread where I said I was reading it or not, but I highly recommend it. Definitely the most fun I've had reading a book all year. Well done time travel stories make my day.

I finished The Soul Key tonight. Mostly positive feelings, though I will say I am thoroughly weary of the mirror universe and trying to keep all the alternates straight in my head. At least the quality of the story made working through it worthwhile. I know a lot of fans find the mirror universe compelling - I'm just not one of them.

I did like how the story ended both with Taran'atar's path and Iliana's.

And now, at long last, I arrive at the much ballyhooed Destiny. Here we go down the rabbit hole! ;)

I'm thinking about reading some more classics, but I can't decide which one. My choices are:
Dracula
Frankenstein
The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (and other stories)
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (and other stories)
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Grimm's Fairy Tales
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
A Tale of Two Cities
Don Quixote
Gullivers Travels
Any recommendations for which to read first?

A Tale of Two Cities is a great book. Another classic that was amazing is the Count of Monte Cristo

Currently reading Black Order by James Rollins. Just love his books. First book of his I read was Subterranean, then jumped to Map of Bones. I love his stuff because its a cross between National Treasure/Indiana Jones, but still he keeps everything fresh and unique at the same time.
After i get through his books, i'm gonna start the Reacher books by Lee child even though i'll be reading them way out of order. I read the first chapter of The Affair and really enjoyed it.

:techman:The Ds9 Millenumn series is one of my favorite series Yesterday I went to my used book store and found some Startrek books I hadn't been able to find before I'm reading Garth of Izar and I found StarTrek S.CE Wildfire and a few other Startrek books.

Just finished Paths Of Disharmony at the second attempt. I'm so glad i've got those Typhon Pact books out of the way. On the whole they were very disappointing. Onto Indisinguishable From Magic now, have high hopes for this..

The Typhon pact books are a big disappoinment I didn't care for the stories or how the characters like Sisko were treated in the books I got bored reading them pretty quickly trying to finish read these books it took me forever to finish them. Indistinguishable Magic is a lot better story than the Typhon pact books.I'm glad that next year we'll have more Tos era books instead of all these post borg Typhon pact TNG era books that have come out the last few years.I'd like to see more standalone Startrek novels or Story anthologies that take place during the tv series or the Myried Universe books.
