I'm not sure I'd call it sci-fi as it's set more or less in the present day and doesn't feature any futuristic technology, as far as I can remember. William Gibson moved on into the present day a couple of years ago.

The thing about Gibson's more recent books is that they're like a lot of JG Ballard's books: even when they aren't science fiction, something about them feels like science fiction. Like Ballard, Gibson just seems to see the world in a different way.
Picked up the first Honor Harrington novel, On Basilik Station, and am finding it a very enjoyable read.
