Thanks, glad you liked it! I'm one of the (sometimes seemingly-few) people who really enjoyed Enterprise, and I love that you've breathed new life into it. I'm definitely enjoying this series, and really anticipating future installments!

I finished Virus and plan to start Promised, Book 3 of the Birthmarked series today.

Finished out Children of the Storm. Really good. I enjoyed learning about the Demeter crew and Phinn was pretty interesting as a character. A good resolution two, it's nice seeing Voyager save the day but have another crew partly solve the problem too.

Now onto DTI: Forgotten History. Just got through the prologue and I'm pretty intrigued about where it's going.

The last few weeks have left me almost no time for reading, but I did fit in Rising Son and Unity on a couple of long train journeys.

I liked them both, nice to see that old dangling TNG plot thread being picked up.

I'M reading Star Trek TOS Cast No Shadow by James Swallow. I really like the story takes place during the Tos movie era.

I just finished the first book in the Voyager Dark Matters trilogy, and it was possibly the worst Star Trek novel I've ever read. Certainly bottom 5. At no point in the entire novel did anything or anyone make any sense at all. Unbelievably bad.

Finished Star Trek Titan: Orion's Hounds last week.
Really enjoyed it. Liked the focus on non-humanoid aliens and really starting to get a feel for the Titan crew.

Currently reading the Cardassia story from Worlds of Star Trek Deep Space Nine Volume 1. Finding it a little hard to get in to so far, but nice to be reading about the O'Briens again. And Garak too.

I just started reading "The Lost Era: The Sundered" as a starting point, and plan to read everything in chronological order from there. Thanks to the eclectic reading challenge page, he's got everything in chronological order. It will be quite an undertaking. Since I just decided to do the same thing with the star wars books. Should keep me busy for a while.

What do you mean by "everything"? Vanguard, for instance, is fairly important to the modern novel continuity, and that comes before The Sundered.

I just finished the first Star Trek Vanguard novel, and started the 2nd book in the series. I found the book interesting. It felt like the 2 hour premiere of a new Star Trek series. It feels a lot like Deep Space 9 in the TOS time period. This is the first trek book I have read in years.

"everything" as in everything taking place after the Sundered, moving forward chronologically from that point. I've read all the Vanguard series. Great stuff. Originally I was going to start with the Encounter at Farpoint novelization, and move forward from that point with all the 24th century books in order. But after looking at the Electic reading challenge site, I realized I'd never read the Lost Era stuff. so I figured I'd start there instead.

I just finished reading StarTrek Cast No Shadow by James Swallow I really liked the storyarc with Elias Vaughn and Valeris and the spy inrigue with Section 31 and showing how ruthless they are when they want to carry certain people to carry out their missions no matter what the cost to the people they send out on these dangerous missions or the aftermath that affects them afterwards.

oh yeah I know it'll take me some time to do. But I've always wanted to do it. It usually takes me a day or 2 to get through the average trek novel.
