What is the name of the book?

Yes they're really good I've read some of the Best of Science fiction story collections from the library.

Just finished reading Henry Winkler’s excellent memoir/autobiography, Being Henry: The Fonz… and Beyond (2023). Highly recommended.

My one quibble is that while he hits the key points and does tell quite a few personal anecdotes, he doesn’t go as much into the making of “Happy Days” and his relationships with his co-stars (aside from Ron Howard) as much as I would have liked. Then, again, I understand that this is his own personal life’s story, not a “Happy Days behind the scenes” book.

I gave the book four out of five stars on GoodReads.

Finished the audiobook of “A Stitch in Time” the other day. It was most excellent. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Moved onto John Scalzi’s latest, “Starter Villain” read by Wil Wheaton. It’s SO MUCH FUN! And Wil is the perfect reader.

I’m also re-reading Preston Neal Jones’s “Return to Tomorrow: The Filming of Star Trek — The Motion Picture.” It’s still great. I enhance the reading experience by listening to Jerry Goldsmith soundtracks (“The Wind and the Lion”, “Logan’s Run”, “Alien”, and, of course, his Star Trek scores).

Current reading: THE PIRATE'S WIFE: The Remarkable True Story of Sarah Kidd.

A biography of Captain Kidd's wife.

William Shakespeare's Horror Collection by Ian Doescher (Bard-style retellings of Frankenstein, Jekyll & Hyde, and Dracula)
Star Wars: Brotherhood (Anakin and Obi-Wan story very soon after Attack of the Clones)
Star Trek: Vulcan's Soul: Exiles

The Vulcan's Soul books have some good ideas and characterization in them, but I feel like I could have crossed Vulcan's Forge with a le-matya on my back faster than I am reading them, especially the Memory segments. It's hard to compete with the histories in Spock's World and The Romulan Way, and this does not come close to challenging the crown.

Just finished re-reading GC's Miasma. A bit melodramatic at times; entertaining, but not GC's best work.

Of course, "GC's best work," like "CLB's best work" or "DD's best work," is a very high bar.

non-ST: American Pastoral. ST: Dreadnought!

Also continuing to read Elusive Salvation, although that is a read-aloud with my kids, so it's on a longer timeline (as it were)

The Mystery Guest - Nita Prose
Star Trek: Old Wounds - Christie Golden

At 21%, I'm enjoying this quite a bit more than its reputation had me believing I would.

Black Panther by Christopher Priest: Complete Collection Vol. 1 (reread)
