So What Are you Reading?: Generations

Newest Literary Treks episode is up: Literary Treks 261: We Almost Had a Spit Take, in which we talk about Voyager: Spirit Walk, Book One: Old Wounds by Christie Golden.
Currently finishing up Book Two, Enemy of My Enemy, which we'll be discussing on the next Literary Treks!

The Spirit Walk books are the one where I prefer the original covers over the Cross Cult Covers.... At least partly. The Germans went without Sekaya. Chakotay looks better on the German cover, his facial expression is more pleasant. I prefer the original book 2 cover over the German cover with Harry, though.

I just finished up The Iron Codex by @David Mack, really enjoyed it, I'll post my thoughts over in it's thread.
I'm gonna read a comic book next, but I haven't decided which one.
EDIT:
Decided on Star Wars (current Marvel ongoing series) Vol. 4: Last Fight of the Harbinger, which collects issues #20 - #25. All of issues are written by Jason Arron , #20 features art by Mike Mayhew and letters by VC's Chris Eliopoulos, and #21-#25 feature art by Jorge Molina, #21 and #23 feature letters by Chris Elipoulos, while Joe Caramagna letters the rest, and Mike Milla colored all of the issues. It also features a short comic, Droid Dilema, written, drawn and lettered by Chris Eliopoulos, with colors by Jordie Bellaire.

Second Kings. (Spoiler: Jezebel is about to get thrown out a window.)

Which is to say, I'm already past four of the five occurrences of the rather quaint, but earthy phrase "pisseth against the wall" (and the one occurrence of "pisseth against a wall").

I'm currently reading Enemy Territory.

The dialogue between Kurak and Leskit discussing their sex life while Kurak is drunk is hilarious.
Excellent! I really enjoyed that one. I should have a review of it in the next few weeks!

Why thank you.

When I was putting a Klingon crew together, Leskit was the first person I wanted on there, because he's my favoritest Klingon ever. :)

I finished rereading Taking Wing this week. I love the multispecies crew on Titan and all of the Romulan/Reman/Klingon/Federation intrigues going on. The solution chosen by Riker was the perfect "surprising but inevitable" solution to the dilemma in 2005, but on a reread, it's mostly just inevitable because it sticks in the memory so well. I'm glad to have Tuvok on board, and I like Mekrikuk, but the prison and escape storyline was not nearly as interesting as the rest of the book. I give it a 4/5 on this reading.

I'm about to start The Prayer of Manasses. And since only the Second and Third Epistles of John are shorter, I'll be starting Ezra in a matter of minutes, which puts me well into tomorrow's quota.

I'm giving Hell's Gate by David Weber and Linda Evans another try.

Previously, I've liked all of the novels of both of the authors that I've read, but the first time, couldn't get into this. So far, I'm a little further in.
