After the Voyager rewatch I had another boxset ready to go and this time it was Stargate Atlantis.

So far close to the end of season 1. Don't care much for the Genii they seem like a big bunch of dicks. Before I sleep was not one of my favourite episodes the first time around but watching it again now it felt different and I very much like it now. I thought also my feelings about the episode Brotherhood would change but still don't like the way that episode ended. Not sure what they could have done to change it but it is what it is.

I'll keep posting as I get through the seasons and post once I finish season 1.

This is a show i've always thought about watching but never gotten around to. l'm kinda torn right now between watching this and Supernatural.

I remember ditching Stargate Atlantis. Maybe around the end of season 2 or 3. As I did with Stargate SG1 around season 9. But I came back to those shows later. Never came back to Stargate Universe though.
It was around the time of NBSG and I felt Atlantis and SG1 were just covering old ground. When I went back to finish each series I did enjoy them still for what they were. I think Atlantis does get a bit better and interesting later on.

But funnier :)

How could any one be funnier than Teal'c?

I really enjoyed Atlantis, even though I still don't like Rodney. The action and space battles, though, were some of the best sci fi space action sequences I've seen. They were always exciting, especially the ones in (I believe) season 3.

Well, he's obnoxious and a bit of an egomaniac, for starters... Amusing at times to be sure, but I think in the long-run it could get pretty tedious.

Oddly enough now that I am done with season 1 yep could not agree more... This time around I felt like I had to grit my teeth while watching whenever he was on screen. It was cool to see an evil O'Brien as leader of the Genii, what a bunch of dicks they were. They got nukes but want C4 I just don't get that part of it all they were only after C4. WTF?
