So..... Transformers....

Mark Wahlberg is also the worst 'actor' in Hollywood. I'm not sure how he gets jobs. Does he have blackmail on people or something?

Whalberg is good when he wants to be, when he knows he's in crap he delivers crap and it's fun crap. (See: The Happening.)

Yes, he is pretty amazing in The Departed and generally good in some more serious roles, he is funny when he has fun doing what he is doing and then there are flicks like Transformers where it's obvious that the paycheck is the only thing that's calling him to the set. I don't blame him one bit.

It started with a legend, which remained hidden for over a thousand years ...

Your daughter ... what would you say to her?

Work hard, brush your teeth, stay away from drummer guys.

Transformers makes for some kick-ass trailers; other than that, the plot is empty, and you just sit there to be wowed by the special effects.

This Bumbleblee looks a lot better. It looks simpler, more solid, more robotic, less million magic CGI pieces flying around like the Bay-Transformers. Let's hope the story is better too.

He's called Bumblebee because some actual bees were attached to him? Good grief. I'll probably see it because of Moviepass but I'm not sold. I'm ready for the reboot.

Did I see Starscream in that trailer?

Otherwise, meh. It looks like every other Transformer movie, complete with the military or a government agency getting involved.

I have yet to see a Transformers movie, but this trailer looks like fun and I'll probably take my currently car-and-Transformer-obsessed grandson to see it. :D

I would say it's more "E.T" and alot of "alien hides away with young adult while running away from bad government people"

It doesn't look like it has the Michael Bay hyperactive look to it. I guess the smaller budget helped

I haven't seen any of the Micheal Bay Transformers since the first one, but my curiosity got the better of me so I watched the trailer, and it actually looks like it has potential.

Yeah well.. Transformers was never known for its shakespearean qualities ;)

I liked this, the designs are much simpler than Bay's Transformers (which is a good thing), here's hoping the story is more lowkey and only a few Transformers appear which is also a good thing since Bay really went all in which became tiresome and confusing in the long run.

If this turns out halfway decent it might be the right way to reboot the entire thing and rebuild it slowly.
