I haven't been excited for anything for a while until I found out Mac was bringing out a Star Trek collection. I was like a child on Christmas morning when this arrived... when I opened the box a ray of light shone through and the angels were singing. <3

I'm kinda surprised a cosmetics company would embrace Star Trek. Seems like a weird branch off the usual demographic. But that's cool! The more the merrier! If fancy eyeliner gets someone new to appreciate Trek I can't complain.

I was surprised when I saw they had a collection coming out as well but a lot of companies are jumping on the 50th anniversary bandwagon. Build a bear has a Spock doll and another limited edition teddy bear which you can buy ST uniforms for. Sounds sad but it's getting the kids in to it, it just shows as my 6 year old niece has asked to watch it with me a big difference from My Little Pony that she is used to watching.
I myself was too young to watch any ST series the first time around (my parents aren't SciFi fans at all), I have been watching for about 4 years now, so when merchandise like this comes out I want to buy for something to be able to look back onto. The playmates sets from the 90's go for quite a lot of money on Ebay (not that I would ever sell anything) but in years to come I know I wont regret not buying anything.
