So plan and simple do you like the enterprise E or not

the enterprise E is a interesting ship. It apparent could be a 1 ship only class, but thats unlikely. Also some say it is in the same classification as the defiant: warship. so what do you think a great successor to the enterprise D or not so much. I love it but others don't. In my opinion it is aesthetically pleasing because it does not look like a duck. I also love that it as more torpedo launchers better redundancy

I like the capital letter E in ship names. That is partially why the E-E is my favourite Enterprise and the E-Wing is my favourite SW fighter.

It's awright but the Intrepid Class is pretty sexy. On the other hand nothing beats the original. TOS not Enterprise. Strongly dislike the JJ ship but do kinda like the redesign used for Discovery. Too bad it's on Discovery.

I can't stand the Intrepid class design.

Conversely, the Enterprise-E is gorgeous.

Oh, 1701 - E doesn't look like a duck but more like a platypus!

It's okay but for me it lacks that special quality that most of the regular ships or station also in the case of DS9. It kind of lacks a unique personality in design both on the inside and out. It's to regular looking IMO.

I like it, close enough to the D while being pretty different, similar to the A without being too similar/obviously similar, overall pretty cool. I especially like the nacelles, not better than those of the D but about as good.

I liked the Enterprise-E when it first premiered in FC. Over the years, I've come to like it less and less. Probably due to my extreme bias about John Eaves's designs.

But I will always love the Enterprise-D.

The Enterprise-E looks flat, like someone stepped on it. And way overstyled. Too many fussy details, too much design for design's sake.

But I marginally prefer it to the D. To me, the Next Generation ship looks like an abstract sculpture or a piece of alien furniture.

The E is a slick ship. Clearly designed for more combat oriented assignments due to the previous Borg invasion and the whispers of this 'Dominion' going on. My thoughts on what would the E have been if there was no Borg invasion or Wolf 359 massacre. Would it have been different?

But I'm not torn. As these post responses have indicated, there's a design for everyone. On my end, I prefer the E over the D. It makes the 'stretch' warp speed effect look good!

Yeah yes I shouldn’t put in love as well but the question was do you like it. Mostly I thought I was the only one this site that I actually loves the sovereign class

I'd go with like, I prefer the design of the Sovereign Class to that of the Galaxy Class.

But nothing quite beats the refit Constitution Class.
