So now I've seen the movie... four times

Candlelight

Admiral
Admiral
It was on TV last night. Still very good.

Haven't desired to see it too many times. Having young kids (twins) I have to be selective about what I watch cos I don't have much time!

I'm up to like 9 or something but haven't watched it in a while. Probably will watch it at least one more time before the next one comes out.

I swear I must be close to 30 viewings by now. But I haven't watched it in a while either. Maybe its time for another session!

I saw it again recently and it still holds up. I'm still amazed by the effects work. It's been a while since a Trek movie got the big budget treatment it deserved. All around, it's just a very entertaining movie. Great pacing and never a dull moment. The only real weakness are the plot holes, but those can be explained away with some creativity. ;)

It's funny. I saw this 11 times in theatres (5 in IMAX), but have only seen it on BD twice (once to listen to the commentary).

Once in the cinema and three times on Blu ray.

One of those for the audio commentary, to hear what its makers were thinking.

I watched it again myself yesterday. I haven't sat down and listened to the director's commentary yet though. Is it any good?

I saw it three times in the theatre, then a handful of times once the DVD came out. Then, near the end of last March, I had a family thing going on that made it difficult to fall sleep at night. My solution? Might as well watch ST09. Every night. This lasted to the end of June. Granted, I often was asleep by the end of it, but I know the beginning sequence by heart. I've even got an extensive personal canon for George and Winona.

As for the commentary, I watched a couple of times with it on. It was interesting enough and it was nice to get a little insight on what they were thinking as they made the movie. I don't think there was much in it that hasn't been mentioned in articles and interviews by this point, though.

Just watched it yesterday with some friends.

One who never saw the Trek series enjoyed it.

EDIT: Oh, yeah....and I guess it really wasn't my 'upteenth' time, but I've definitely (since 2009) seen the film more than five times...

I didn't see it through last night, but I still think it's an incredible movie. If it could make my brother enjoy something Trek, then it's a success.

I don't even know how many times I watched it anymore. I saw it 5 times in the cinema, then about a gazillion on dvd.

And it's still awesome. :)

I don't even know how many times I watched it anymore.

Me either. I saw it once at the theater, and I think three times once I got the DVD, and one of those includes last Christmastime when we had an 11 day marathon of all the Star Trek films.
