So now I've seen the movie... four times

It was on TV last night. Still very good.

Haven't desired to see it too many times. Having young kids (twins) I have to be selective about what I watch cos I don't have much time!

I saw it again recently and it still holds up. I'm still amazed by the effects work. It's been a while since a Trek movie got the big budget treatment it deserved. All around, it's just a very entertaining movie. Great pacing and never a dull moment. The only real weakness are the plot holes, but those can be explained away with some creativity.

It's funny. I saw this 11 times in theatres (5 in IMAX), but have only seen it on BD twice (once to listen to the commentary).

I watched it again myself yesterday. I haven't sat down and listened to the director's commentary yet though. Is it any good?

I saw it three times in the theatre, then a handful of times once the DVD came out. Then, near the end of last March, I had a family thing going on that made it difficult to fall sleep at night. My solution? Might as well watch ST09. Every night. This lasted to the end of June. Granted, I often was asleep by the end of it, but I know the beginning sequence by heart. I've even got an extensive personal canon for George and Winona.

As for the commentary, I watched a couple of times with it on. It was interesting enough and it was nice to get a little insight on what they were thinking as they made the movie. I don't think there was much in it that hasn't been mentioned in articles and interviews by this point, though.

EDIT: Oh, yeah....and I guess it really wasn't my 'upteenth' time, but I've definitely (since 2009) seen the film more than five times...

I didn't see it through last night, but I still think it's an incredible movie. If it could make my brother enjoy something Trek, then it's a success.

Me either. I saw it once at the theater, and I think three times once I got the DVD, and one of those includes last Christmastime when we had an 11 day marathon of all the Star Trek films.
