Just nonsense - nobody acts like that.
Oh, boy. Can we just move on from this “from” conversation?

We should tackle much more important issues instead, like where the Picard hometown of La Barre exactly is.I'm just waiting to see it pop up in the forum as its own thread.

This was one of the burning questions the producers wanted to use this season to answer; how Discovery syncs up with the rest of Trek canon.

Now that Disco has been "synced up" with Holy Trek Canon, I've been given the gift I didn't ask for. Once I realized what I had, I thought, "Great! You just did me a favor without my realizing it." How do I figure? They just improved my DSC Forum TrekBBS-going experience. All the debates I used to get involved into on here have been rendered moot.
"Why don't they mention the Spore Drive?" It's been classified and they agree never to speak about it.
"Why didn't the Klingons have hair in the first season?" They shaved their heads.
"Why don't the D7s look like D7s?" Because the Klingons were divided. Once they united, they decided what it really was.
"Why wasn't Kirk in the Klingon War?" If Pike wasn't, then what works for Pike works for Kirk.
"Where are the TOS Uniforms?" The Enterprise crew are wearing them. They're the "new" uniforms and haven't been fully phased in.
"Why don't we usually see holocommunicators later on?" There are some technical issues and not everyone likes them.
"Why doesn't Spock mention Michael?" To quote Worf, "We do NOT discuss it with Outsiders."
There we go. I'm not too thrilled with all of these answers, I want to stress that (especially when I didn't ask for them), but they're answers nonetheless. Or at least addressed as non-answers. Either way, they're addressed. And it really comes down to whether or not someone likes those answers. Which is different from not having them at all.
So I've completely moved on from all of those topics because I don't feel a need to defend them anymore whenever they're brought up in Prequel Canon Debates which I won't miss at all. Bye-bye. See you later, Evil PCDs.
Onward to Season 3 where NONE of that matters anymore!
Proven technology whose operation is illegal under federation law because of the requirements of either a genetically augmented navigator or by imprisoning torturing a sentient species It's in the same league with the Equinox, IMO, as it can only be used by violating Federation tenets.
mothball? burn it!Plus, as far as Starfleet command knows, they are 0/2 regarding the spore drive. Both ships outfitted were lost with all hands including the two lead scientists (the Glenn due to a horrible jump accident, the Discovery allegedly due to a fatal spore drive malfunction at a critical moment).
Coupled with all the ethical concerns (genetically altering humans which is a big, illegal taboo, plus the long term effects on Stamets aren't even known yet), the practical problems (we don't know how rare tardigrades of the Ripper variety are, if they even usually hang around in Federation space, and if they'll ever be able to find one again), plus all the risks with it that came up during Discovery's run (accidentally jumping into suns if you try long distance without a navigator, semi-accidentally jumping to alternate universes, thanks, Lorca, losing months by jumping "too far", or the danger to poison the network and endanger life as we know it through careless use, thanks, mirrorStamets) Starfleet has noreason not to mothball the whole idea.
Apparently even Klingons can see sense in leaving something deemed too dangerous well alone. They apparently came to that conclusion regarding the usage of time crystals for war purposes. They know what actually happened! Their Chancellor and her boy toy were with them!

So this is the progression of the USS Enterprise uniform then? . You happy with that explanation?
