Anyone asked him about his big news yet?
Or is it just his cameo in Thor?

Jan's last update a week or so back was something to the affect of it's still rolling, but, can't be talked about yet. I'm sure she'll expand on it.Anyone asked him about his big news yet?

Re: the B5 thing...I'm not being coy, it's just that over the years, it's like B5 has been the football, the fans (and I to a degree) have been Charlie Brown, and the studios/networks have dutifully executed their role as Lucy. Consequently, I'm not saying anyTHING to anyONE for any REASON until I know for a stone cold fact that there's ink on contracts and we're moving ahead on something of substance.

The last thing I heard about it was this:

JMS said:It'll be at least another few weeks as the powers that be ensure that every i has been dotted and ever t crossed. There's always a chance things could go pear-shaped, as the Brits say, but things are looking promising for the moment.
The one which has been reduced to little more than occasional links to "thewb.com" (a site which is completely useless to international fans since it is restricted to IPs within the US)?It was in a thread about a popular B5 Facebook page disappearing and returning under the control of the WB.
That's the one. But if there is something B5 coming up, it might help to recall that historically WB has put fans in charge of B5 websites. As I recall, Troy Rutter handled the AOL boards back in the day and (I think) Sandy Bruckner helped out with the official B5 site as well as the fan club website. Let's hope it's the case now. A number of the fans from that page are now at a smaller page nowthat's pretty active. The one which has been reduced to little more than occasional links to "thewb.com" (a site which is completely useless to international fans since it is restricted to IPs within the US)?It was in a thread about a popular B5 Facebook page disappearing and returning under the control of the WB.![]()
Nope. Blu-Ray keeps coming up and JMS has said:If there's something B5 coming up, I'd be willing to bet it's just a Blu-Ray set.
You really couldn't do a blu-ray of B5 unless you went back and seriously uprezzed the original and redid the CGI which was cropped, and I don't know that that's feasible.

B5 isn't Trek - it's not going to happen. You really couldn't do a blu-ray of B5 unless you went back and seriously uprezzed the original and redid the CGI which was cropped, and I don't know that that's feasible.

No. That response was only a week or two ago. Whatever's brewing B5-wise has been going on since before last year's New York Comic-Con.Nope. Blu-Ray keeps coming up and JMS has said:If there's something B5 coming up, I'd be willing to bet it's just a Blu-Ray set.

Unless he's being told how it's feasible.
I just literally had a dream that B5 was released on Blu-Ray as a $500 box set, and I was desperately searching for somewhere to preview the discs because I was convinced they were poor uprezes from the DVDs. Yeah, I have a pretty sad imagination... :P
Damn beat me to it. A wise man once said, "If your going to have delusions, you might as well go for the really satisfying ones." Substitute delusions for dreams and that quote totally works.![]()
