Wally World is slang some people use for Wal-Mart.

Before that it was slang for (Walt) Disney World. That is still the first thing I think of when someone says Wally World. I thought he was wondering around Disney and ...

I have relatives who worked at Walt Disney World from opening day, but never heard it called Wally World. The term came from National Lampoon's Vacation as the destination of the Griswolds. It was a theme park like Disney. Later the term was applied to WalMart and we have called it Wally World since then.
