I love classic TV comedies and this just put it over the top for me. :guffaw:

Oh wow, I just realized how much a dear friend of mine resembles Tony Randall - right down to Felix Unger's over-enthusiastic defense of what he believes is so.

A jewel of a TV classic. You won't regret it. Terrific clip, btw. Had me laughing good & hard

One of the funniest tv shows of the 70s. It holds up well because the basic idea of opposite roommates is as relevant today as it was then. And the gags are a hoot and howl....

I have to admit, so disappointment followed after this clip. I thought the writers of the show came up with that ASSUME statement. I come to find out that it's a very old joke, but I had never heard that before in my life. I think Felix's dramatic presentation is what is supposed to be the funny part, but seeing as that was the first time I ever saw someone use the word ASSUME like that, I laughed liked hell!

This one was great too!

I love this show. My VHS tapes are 15 years old and wearing out. I was gonna replace them with the DVD's, but haven't yet because, one, my money has been needed for other stuff, and two, I heard this was one of those shows that had the music replaced.

Any of you guys know how much has been changed? The opening music (which I consider a classic theme) is still intact, I hope? Anybody have the DVD's?

Ive rented some of the DVDs from Netflix. Unfortunately from what Ive seen there are cuts made to a number of the episodes.

I really think I'm going to like this one. I love many of the classic comedies of this era - most notably The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Bob Newhart Show.

This show made part of a great Friday night for me while in junior high school. It was followed by Kolchak: The Night Stalker.

I have all these shows on DVD, MTM Newhart and TOC, all classic stuff.
