So I started watching "Babylon 5" for the first time.

As folks mentioned above about comedy and very human conversation injected into otherwise serious situations, that was one of the conversations that really made me love the show. The very human, mundane topic of pants and socks when there's nothing to do for hours on end while you are waiting for momentum to get you to the destination was great. I could easily imagine such countless pointless conversations happening in such an environment. Conversations out of boredom, needling the other passengers, or just plain being people. I loved it.

Or the 6 to 12 hours it takes you to decompress from Hyperspace before you can re-enter normal space safely on the other side of your ships airlock.

Plenty of time to kill.

Laundry, removing that smell from the latrine, the latest episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians'...

Talk?

We'd be watching Snowwhite and the 7 Narns vol 01 through 12.

Yes...I am at the point where marshal law has been declared on earth. Random Thought, I think the season 3 opening theme is amazing
