So I started watching "Babylon 5" for the first time.

Emperor Catagia was in 5 episodes and he was perfect.

There were some sound bytes, but we never actually saw Clarke talk.

Less is more.

Byron was xxxxx episodes.

Too long. To much.

Sure at least 6 of those episodes where with him just passing off Thomas Aquinas as pretentious hipster whiny shit where he's making fun of the mundanes in such a way that some one should slap him. Oh, and when that guy did slap most of the blood in his face out of his face, how fricking manipulative victimizing himself like that just to prove his superiority against people he doesn't need to prove his superiority against, because they are garbage eating hobo's.

Oh?

He was a hipster?

I suppose hipsters have always been in the world, but they were just a vague unclassified class of asshole.

I don't think that we should round up all the hipsters in the universe and put them up against a wall. All that needs to be done is to educate young women about why they shouldn't ever sleep with hipsters, lumped in when they're getting all their other puberty conversations in middle school.

Black nail polish and clove cigarettes? Run!

Aw, I liked "Day of the Dead".

Using Neil Gaiman to write your scripts is cheating.

JMS wrote something like almost 2 years worth of consecutive scripts in a row at one point which explained the seamless driving force week to week.

Season 5 had a lot of writers.

On episode 13 now.
Byron is dead and I don't care.
Our gallant Captain Sheridan is now a boring bureaucrat. Delenn is meh. Garibaldi is ok so far. Idk why Lyta is doing. Dr. Franklin doesn't have much to do either.

G'Kar and Londo have been the best part of this season.

Ok just finished episode 15 Darkness Ascending. There is my Babylon. I knew I'd see you again. Although... Captain Lochley has seemingly disappeared. Last episode she made an appearance was episode 11 when Byron died. What's up with that?

They save money by only hiring (different) people for X number of episodes at the beginning of the seasons production. Then they juggle which episodes which actors are used in, since some (all?) are not allowed to be used in every episode.

All of the primaries had to agree to a pay cut for season 5 to get off the ground.

At least Pat Tallman got some extra scenes out of byron's arc. Plus a nice nude scene.
in fact, Pat is on record (in her book) asking jms "Why did you wait till I'd just had a baby and my boobs were huge to write me a nude scene?"
