the Stargazer novel Oblivion, the Strange New Worlds (the writing contest, not the WIP show) short story Together Again for the First Time and the aforementioned Picard Biography.

There are so many possible ways to fit in her for a few scenes or an episode, it shouldn't be an issue. Considering she was always there when Picard was struggling with a decision or choice, it'll be something close to that.

Most likely, if I had to guess, he'll be turning to someone whose wisdom is beyond his (and isn't Q) to come to terms with either being what he is now or trying to figure out how to deal with people not accepting what he is. He's gone from Regular Human to being Other. He's not used to being Other.

I'd love if they confirmed her ability to know multiple timelines comes from the nexus, or if they mention the nexus in any way

Picard 2 is a Biological Backup Drive for Picard 1's mind.

There. Only took me a few weeks. I knew I'd come up with something. I just wish it was from a better place. A friend of mine has to have data retrieval done on their external hard-drive. It fell in an accident. The lesson "Always backup your files" applies. So, earlier today, I was thinking, "One day, before this century is over, someone is going to try to back themselves up before they die." Which brought me back to Picard.
