SNL's MacGruber! to be made into movie

Rather have Richard Dean Anderson spends his time on the Stargate movies instead of on this dreck.

So this will be right up there with the other SNL achievements in cinematic history like "It's Pat" and "Superstar"?

So they can't do a MacGyver movie, but they can do one of his idiotic SNL spoof? Creative bankruptcy, thy name is Hollywood.

I ... actually think this sounds kind of funny. Better than "Pat" or "Superstar" anyway.

If you think of it as a MacGuyver parody movie, it seems like there's some potential there.

Don't forget the "Roxbury Brothers" or whatever the hell that was. I say they go ahead and make "MacGruber" it'll allow a film crew to earn a paycheck and it'll go in the long list of SNL related movies that I will never watch.

I think this movie has an excellent chance of being one of the worst "comedies" ever produced.

1)Take a completely unfunny, repetitive 30 second skit based on an unfunny idea
2) starring a terrible actor and
3) make a 90 minute movie out of it
4) ???
5) success

brilliant

I like Will Forte. :(

If they can make it work for 90 minutes, and that's a big if, this is a good thing. MacGruber is the ONLY recurring SNL sketch I find remotely funny. I basically just watch it for the opening political sketch, Weekend Update, and the Digital Short.

Hey God, why don't you lay off giving kids leukemia for a minute and smite the hell out of the jarkoffs behind this movie? Friggin' jerk.

Joe, yours in Christ
