That was warped. Comes across as a bunch of lampooned stereotyped memes woven into a generic red alert subplot and not enough of it really comes together. Not sure who the target audience is, and it's surely not the stereotyped 18-40-something crowd?
YMMV, but some skit shows tend to be hit or miss, and generally date badly. The last time I saw SNL was maybe a decade ago. That said, I chuckled a couple of times, and in of itself the setup that juxtaposes the life-or-death situation with "the selfie song" wasn't bad, and was impressed by the production value for the sets. But it felt overall flat. That, and In Living Color, and MadTV (which are also hit or miss) did Trek lampoons better.
