Smurfette was a whore.

You know, Smurfs are pretty screwed when it comes to what they can do with their lives. It's like communism. What if you're a great athlete or musician and they name you Janitor Smurf? What if you're a total dork who smells, is an idiot and socially inept and you get named Gets All The Chicks Smurf?

I think what we have here is a mistaken premise: that Smurfette was female. Do we have onscreen confirmation of this? No. Smurfette being female is not canon.

No, my friends, Smurfette was a crossdresser. And she pulled it off rather well.
 
Black Smurfs?

You and I both have exquisite taste when it comes to entertainment. :lol: I recall I was in 4th or 5th grade when the cartoons started airing in the country I was living in at the time. My friends and I even role-played. I was Handy Smurf. :D If I only had a Clockwork with me ... :shifty:

I didn't even realize there was a comic strip series decades ago that started in Europe. "Les Schtroumpfs," I don't think I can spell that without looking it up.

Reminds me a little bit of Transformers. One female and all those dudes. Though they did have one or two women. But none of the Decepticon side. Which is kind of weird.

I more modern Transformers lore the Decepticons picked up a few female characters and Arcee was revealed to a male-to-female conversion done by a twisted cybertronian scientist that just wanted to see if he could do it; yeppers kiddies, Hot Rod had a thing for a transgender bot apparently :lol:

the cartoons had more than one female. Prior to Arcee's appearance in TFTM, there was a group of females who worked together on Cybertron; Elita One, Chromia, Moondancer and Firestar.
 
Johan and Peewit? ;) I thought those were annoying and expendable, and I wondered why they were even included. Then again, Gargamel got a sidekick named Scrupple. That's around the same time Grampa, Sazette, Slouch (and other Smurflings) started appearing.
 
^thats around the time I stopped watching the show. I have no idea who Scrupple is.
I always thought his name was Peewee...
