SMALLVILLE Winter Hiatus Thread *Spoilers!*

^ Well I'm afraid to burst your bubble but, the cake is a lie.

I gave up on Smallville in season four (or was it three??) when I heard the no tights no flights thing.

Will we see Clark fly before the series finale of Smallville? — Chris
NATALIE: "I would say watch 'Collateral,'" executive producer Brian Peterson says, very craftily teasing this week's episode. In other exciting final-season news, the Justice League will regroup in the aftermath of Hawkman's knockout funeral. "They're definitely a very cohesive unit by the end of the series," executive producer Kelly Souders says.

I hope they're planning on explaining what happened to the other members of the JL after the 'knockout funeral' since Clark, Ollie, Lo and Canary are the only ones featured in the ep in question.

I'd laugh like hell if when Chloe shows up in her black leather, we learn that she's learned to fly while she's been away.

Cassidy Freeman is one of the main reasons I watched S8 till now...I was jaded after S7...then to hear no LV(Kara)...but we got Tess! :D

It seems Clark isn't so quick to trust his best friend after she's been gone for so long. Sigh. So not only did the best friend and the boyfriend not bother to conduct a search for Chloe, but now when she comes back it's her best friend that has doubts? This is typical of how Smallville operates. Lack of execution on the part of good ideas.

@Proc...I really want to put up with the stretch run but I don't know. I've been enjoying not having to watch the show for the last month and a half :) I looked at the plots for the next few episodes and nothing really screams out at me "Must Watch" right now. "Scion" is interesting. It's a U-Lionel episode and the one with Lucas Gabriel who is of course playing the young teenaged Lex Luthor who I see on the Smallville wiki is being called (LX-15). Sigh. I might be back then. I just don't know.

Also I don't know if we already reported it or not but Sebastian Spence (yea!!!) is playing Ted Kord in "Booster". I will most likely come back for that if I extend my hiatus.

I hear ya, AY. The ONLY reason I'm still hanging in there is because of Ally's four eps. Beyond that... I don't know. I may bail out too, especially if Chlo meets an ill-fate in 'Fortune'.

I've said it before... No Chlo, no Pro!

An to add insult to injury, those frakkers at CW have bumped it until next Friday. I mean, let's just hype this ep for eight weeks, then 'Oh, guess what? We're going to pre-empt it for another week'.

Bastards.

:brickwall:

For some reason I really think they're going to screw up Chloe and Tess by the time we get to the series finale. I don't know why I think that but I do.

I am actually looking forward to Callum Blue back as Zod.

Love his half a bottle of scotch & dislocated jaw performances. :rommie:

Kneel Before Zod!

Smallville scoop: Lois and Clark's big day!

He'll appear in one of the final five episodes of the series.

I swear, Kelly & Brian are on drugs.

Zod's evil plan is put on hold after he spends 5 minutes talking to Lois, realizing that he could never conjure a more constrictive and abusive prison for the son of Jor-El than being married to this earth monekey, the "Major" decides to give the bride away.

"If she was mute, I probably would have nuked the procession from orbit, but this is much better."

I still think it'd be cool if Callum's appearance is Zod exclaiming "You sent us to a hell hole Kal-El. A war world..."

Enunciated, of course, in that over-the-top, hammy accent of his.

I swear, can Doomsday be far behind this revelation? I direct you folks, to AY's comment that currently serves as my sig.
