Smallville: What other DC characters should show up?

I'd love to see Mon-El (none of that 'Valor' or M'Onel crap) show up, have an adventure with Clark, get lead poisoning and be sent to the Phantom Zone to save his life. THEN have him show up with the Legion whenever they next appear--cured by Brainiac 5 and living 1000 years in the future.

^Now that would be something.

A Legion series would be great...

Way too expensive in terms of Special Effects & Sets, but it would be an interesting concept.

My only real concern with a Legion series would be how they could pull off the enormous costs of a show set in the year 3009.

I don't think it would have to be any more expensive than any other Space based Science Fiction show.

^There is no way the CW would carry such a show, however. They only tolerate Smallville because it's about "relationships" and Welling and Hartley's shirts falling off.

Yeah, you're probably right about that...unfortunately.

^This was my thinking as well.

But if it was Mack's or Durance's shirts... We'd be all for it.

This show should move to HBO pronto.

If the CW were even slightly in tune with this show's male viewers we wouldn't have had that question mark over whether or not Allison Mack was coming back this season or not.

She's the best thing in this show and she has been since day one. I don't need her shirt to fall off all the time to recognise that.

^I didn't say ALL the time.

(And note: It was an attempt at sexist humor, something I've obviously no proclivity for.)

The only reason I'd want to see Smallville end at this point, is to allow Allison Mack a chance to move on to something more worthy of her talents. (And yes I'm talking about her acting ability.)

Sorry, I wasn't trying to criticise you. I know what you meant.

I too hope Allison Mack gets something more challenging and interesting than this when it ends.

Yeah I'd like to see Allison move on to something where she can show her acting talen off some more. I have this idea for a Smallville spin off where she creates the underground metahuman organization called Checkmate to monitor and provide assistance to heroes across the globe. That could be a reason why the Legion doesn't have access to her because Checkmate was kept secret and does not offically exist.

Metallo...the ultimate meteor freak, I'm surprised we haven't seen John Corben yet in the Smallville verse. Perry White needs to return now that we got Lois, Clark, and Jimmy all working at the Daily Planet. Tess needs to hire an Editor in Cheif, running a newspaper is below the CEO of Luther Corp. I wonder too when they're going to change the name to Lex Corp? Maybe when or if Lex returns?

That's something that I've played around with as well but I like the Checkmate idea better. Amanda Waller would be a government liason for Checkmate and perhaps the Suicide Squad teams would like special ops sqauds for Checkmate, although Clark would disaprove of this that is why Chloe chose to go underground because she knew that Clark would not approve of her methods. I like to think that Chloe might've been influenced by a certain Gotham vigilante.
