Smallville: What other DC characters should show up?

With DC character guest appearances on the brain after "Legion", I wanted to ask everyone what other DC characters you would like to see on Smallville.

So, maybe:

"Lantern"
"Fate"
"Grundy"
"Wonder"

In a similar thread a long time ago, in addition to those, I also listed "Legion". So maybe in Season 9, if that comes about, one more from my list will come true. ;)

So, who would you all like to see on Smallville?

Commissioner Gordon visiting relatives in Smallville on vacation from the GCPD.

Wait, if Superman & Batman are roughly the same age, then Gordon shouldn't be PD Commissioner, yet, at the time of his suggested Smallville trip yes?

Maybe Gordon, at time of visiting Smallville, should just be a Borough PD Chief then, or a Precinct Commander.

Or Dick Grayson's parents could be visitors?

Is Amanda Grayson a descendant of Dick Grayson? And is Robin descended from Sherlock Holmes, or at the very least, Arthur Conan Doyle?

Ever since Smallville premiered there has been talk about a popular DC character who will moonlight as a man dressed as a bat, speak in a barely audible voice, drives a cool car, and keeps a boy in a cave.

;)

Batman, but I know that aint going to happen because the powers that be are to anal to work with whoever owns the rights in order to make one epsiode where Clark meets Bruce Wayne.

I'd love to see Diana Prince and/or Bruce Wayne show up.

But that ain't gonna happen anytime soon. :(

Ambush Bug as played by Matt Frewer.

Captain Carrot

Ultra Man from Earth whatever...because there's not been enough baddies with Clark's powers. ;)

Plastic Man as played by Bruce Campbell

Wild Dog, D.C.'s crappy Punisher. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wild_Dog_(comics)

I like the Frewer/Bug and Campbell/Plas ideas. I'm sure that wouldn't happen--not NEAR enough of a sense of humor on anyone near this show to make that happen.

(Though if it did, I'd love to see them follow suit with having Geoff Johns script the Legion episode, and have Giffen and Fleming write the Bug show, or Kyle Baker do Plas' episode. I mean, as long as we're dreaming.)

I, for my part, wish fervently for something Green Lantern related... maybe the Guardians might take interest in the Doomsday situation and intervene via their agents? I dunno. I'd take Alan, Hal, John, Guy, Kyle--anyone. Just give 'em a power ring and go to town.

Also: Impulse was nice and all, but what about a genuine Flash? Jay, Barry, Wally (let Rosenbaum grow his hair in and dye it red?), whoever. I like the idea of getting a reasonably venerable character actor as Jay Garrick, to zip in and show Clark a thing or two about getting his hero on like they did in the old days.

:confused::confused:

In ST VI, Spock says that one of his ancestors coined the phrase "If you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains - however improbable - must be the truth." Since Holmes is fictional even in the Trekverse, then Spock must be a descendant of Arthur Conan Doyle. And since Spock's mother (Amanda Grayson) is human, so is she.

^Not quite, the line was "An ancestor of mine maintained that if you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains – however improbable – must be the truth."

Maintained being the operative word.
