Smallville Summer Hiatus Thread III (Spoilers)

^ More news...you mean when Kelly and Brian yap some more?? I think I defend Kristen here more than even Othello and that's saying a lot.

Actually Kristin Kreuk is my fav among the main SMALLVILLE ladies followed by Laura Vandervoort & Cassidy Freeman...Erica Durance I pretty much sick of at this point...and it mainly has to do with how Lois has been forced down our throats these past few seasons and S10 looks worse...I actually like the character and ED at first but then it all went to hell starting with S7...Allison Mack never appealed to me early on and I support her now more than I did at the shows start.

[edit] Yeah, Kelly and Brian need to do more interviews.

[add] If K&B had it their way they dress Clark as a big Crow. :rommie:

Lois used to be one of my favorite characters on the show but the way they've been writing her as I stated earlier in this thread more so than Allison Mack with "Gilmore Girls" type dialogue and delivery is getting old now. Lois was brought in to "spice" up the show and bring a new dynamic to the characters but I think honestly it would have been better as I think you Jet pointed out had she run out her arc in a single season and as I amended come back later on.

I know something fun we can do as we wait for more news and the premiere of the 10th and final season...

List your 3 favorite episodes from S1-S9. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Smallville_episodes if you need to refresh your memory...somehow I see myself as the only one doing this.

I was just on Brian and Kelly's facebook page and their status reads that there will be guest star news for episodes eight and nine that they hope to announce next week. Wonder who it could be...

The guy who delivered a package to Clark in S4 and then in S6 played Bow Wow's BBall buddy who then got toasted by him when Baron possessed Bow Wow?

[edit] A little off topic...I was thinking about a SMALLVILLE MMORPG where you play a Meta-Human(Meteor Freak) and either you are on the side of Justice or InJustice...you go all over Smallville, Metropolis and different parts of Kansas or the world for that matter. Like DC Online but SMALLVILLE centered. :)

"Isis": Erica Cerra Update
It's not yet confirmed who Eureka's Erica Cerra will be playing in the fifth episode of Smallville Season 10, but we do have two possible clues.

First, Ms. Cerra herself was at the Dragon*Con this weekend, and although she did not and could not reveal anything about her character from the episode, she did have a great time and hopes they call her back. She did confirm the door is open for her to return. (Thanks to Gary for that.)

Next, the Internet Movie Database, which is not always a reliable source, is listing Cerra as playing Adrianna Tomaz, the alter ego of Isis from the 52 comic book series. We take this one with a grain of salt because Kelly Souders has made it sound in interviews that this is NOT the DC Isis, and it could just be a fan-created submission. Thanks to Haoh93 for spotting that, though. IMDB also lists John Emmet Tracy as a "Dr. Alfonso."

Either way, hopefully we'll know more about who Erica Cerra is playing in the near future.

Season 4 was where I decided that Lana should have left the show. Or rather, the end of season 3 when she left for her senior year in Paris. They should have just left her there.

I really have to agree with that. I know there's a lot of Lana fans out there, but from a purely creative endeavor to do this show as a retelling of Superman's origins, Dagman is right - she needed to leave right there. I mean hell, it was a damn shame to see Jonathan written out when he was, but his death served a purpose to push Clark further down the path towards realizing his destiny.

I just hope and pray that Kelly, Brian and Tom don't bring her back just for 'Old Home Week', which they're doing with so many returning characters. Her return would serve no purpose to the story, IMO.

Admiral Young, I know you want to see a resolution to the 'Kryptonite Woman' thing, and I agree, they could've given the character a better send-off than that. But it is what is is, and I'd rather just see it left there.

It is a shame they wrote Lana into a place where she is pretty much useless to Clark's story...although she could have helped last season with the Kandorians running a muck.

Like so many aspects of this show, it seems that the showrunners, first G & M, then the Wonder Dorks Kelly & Brian, had no real clue what to do with her.

It's amazing that Lex, Lionel, the Chlovage and Pa Kent fared as well as they did. Then again, one has to consider the talent behind the character when taking that into account.
